New England Clam Chowder Handling & Preparation
Heating Instructions:
For best results, remove bag from cup and place bag in a pot of boiling water. (Rapidly boiling water minimizes bag contact with the pot.) After about 10 minutes of heating from frozen (or 6 minutes if thawed), CAREFULLY remove bag. Bag will be VERY hot. Cut a corner with scissors and pour into serving bowl.
Microwave Option:
Thaw product in refrigerator for 8-12 hours, as needed. Remove bag from cup. Cut a corner of the bag with scissors and pour product into a microwave-safe container. Cover loosely with microwavable plastic wrap or paper towel. Heat on high for about 4-5 minutes, stirring halfway through. Use CAUTION when handling container and product will be VERY hot.
